The Drought Girl - South Carolina New Play Festival

​I'm honored to announce that my new Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) play, The Drought Girl, will be featured at the 2025 South Carolina New Play Festival (SCNPF) in Greenville, SC. The reading is scheduled for Sunday, August 10, at 3 PM at the South Carolina Children’s Theatre. ​South Carolina New Play Festival

The Drought Girl (age 7+) follows Nemo, a fourth-grade girl who prefers solitude but is constantly teased by her table-mate, Stone. Their dynamic shifts with the arrival of Han Ling, a mysterious girl possessing supernatural gifts and curses. The play explores themes of friendship and understanding through three unique perspectives. ​
